Borrowing its title from a Vermeer’s painting – “View of Delft” (1660), as described by Marcel Proust in a well known scene of “A La Recherche Du Temps Perdu” – “Little patch of yellow wall, with a sloping roof, little patch of yellow wall…” – the piece aligns different scenic construction devices and questions the theatrical structure itself, through both theatre’s and painting’s history.
